My 21 days in Cambodia is up and I am off to my next passport stamp!
Fancy eh? I used to just read it on blogs!
For the last 3 weeks I have been volunteering with the locals and working online in Siem Reap.
To save on expenses, I volunteered at a Japanese guesthouse and restaurant.
In exchange for free food and accomodation I am helping them prepare traditional lunch for the tourists, washing the dishes, and serving guests.I bus out tables, keep messing everything up and watch them finish the job themselves instead :)
And in the afternoon? MacMac (yes I named my laptop) and I will catch up on some work, find a nice cafe to sit in for hours, compute all $$$ to Philippine peso, roam around the city, bike around the temples, and smile while people talk to me in Khmer thinking I'm a local :)
The perks of freelancing! Being able to pick a country, travel slow and bring my work anywhere <3
5 months into doing this full time. So far so good!!
